video game haiku from the resigned gamer

This week's round of poetry is for the deep blue sea...

JAWS

i will harpoon all
the eels and jellyfish in
the sea to find you.

SQOON

arrr don't you look at
me that way lots of pirates
have pink submarines

and this one is from kn0thing:

SILENT SERVICE

Pacific War sub
hunting Japs, waiting for boats
still waiting, waiting.

Ecco The Dolphin:

Big Blue? Asterite?
This shit is too hard for me.
Tuna on wheat, please.

the silent service one could be seen as a haiku but the other two aren't haikus at all! A haiku is three distinct phrases, not one spread across three lines.

Unfortunately I never played the rare import "Haiku Fighter" for DS, so I was unaware of this form thing. Have you got one for us, Matt?

Haiku Fighter was wayyyyy over-rated. But as you can tell, I played it (and the never-released-in-the-US import)
