Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. (TTWO) Friday said a modified version of its controversial "Manhunt 2" video game has received an "M" rating from the Entertainment Software Rating Board, or ESRB. As a result, the company's Rockstar unit will launch the title for the Playstation 2, Playstation Portable and Nintendo Wii on Oct. 31.

The game had been pulled from a planned summer release after the ratings board slapped it with an "Adults Only" rating due to its violent content.

Oh, I hope they pull a "hot coffee" and leave an unlockable version of the "Adults Only" material. That'll show 'um.
