Haiku for childlike wonder

video game haiku from the resigned gamer

It is natural to fear what we don't understand, but only through embracing the incomprehensible can we transcend our nature. Metamorphosis is uncomfortable for cockroach and fellow man alike though, and they will snarl and bark curses at you. But return their cruelties with loving kindness, nourish your soul, and you can fly.

O' child, life is not meant to be lived behind glass looking out. Throw back the curtains, hoist up the pane, take a deep breath and seize the lollipops floating in the sky.

This week's haiku go out to all who have a sweet tooth for life, and are not afraid to taste new foods; For all who have a heart full of heart, and are not afraid to share it.

CHUBBY CHERUB

fat flying angel
must eat sweets to stay aloft
its gender unknown

dogs can sense evil
know when there is something off
your kiss? do not want!

peeking in windows
to find children in blackface
someone call the cops
